My Favorite Views of Home
I am so thankful to God for my parents and the happy home they provided us.
I can say with a GRATEFUL heart that I had a happy childhood. I learned so much from their hard work and careful planning.
All of my DIY enthusiasm stems directly from their example of making the most of what you have. Over the years I saw how they carefully maintained and remodeled our home. One project at a time.
Daddy let Mama decorate and chose whatever paint colors, etc. she wanted. When she decided to paint the kitchen cupboards white, he came home, saw it and said, “oh, I was hoping you would do that”. He was not picky about those things as long as everything had a place and was being taken care of.
I love my mom’s taste and choices she made in designing the interior. We have teased her more than once about her love of white. Many things my mom did have inspired my own designs.
My parents both loved antiques, nature and art. My Dad loved to buy art for my Mom to hang and find a place for.
Growing up, I just adored my parents and have so many happy memories here. What a beautiful place that I will hold in my heart forever.
I am happy to share photo’s with you. I hope you will find them inspiring as I always have. Here are my favorite views of home.
